biopsyMuscle and Nerve Biopsy can provide direct histopathological evidence of nerve or muscle disease. Furthermore, it also provides the nature of the disease and its chronicity. Nerve and muscle specimens can be subjects of biochemical, metabolic, immunological and molecular genetic investigations if such studies are necessary.
