PATIENT EDUCATION: ALS Community Education
» back to Patient Education
The staff at the Eleanor & Lou Gehrig MDA/ALS Center is committed to the education of health care professionals, patients and families to improve awareness of research, management and therapeutic treatments for ALS. It is through awareness and active education of the medical community that we will promote better care and ultimately find a cure for ALS.
Faculty and staff of the Center are frequently invited to international and national programs to share their expertise in ALS. If you are interested in having an educational in-service, requesting our involvement at and educational forum, or grand rounds please contact us at ALSCenter@columbia.edu or 212 342-3728 .
Every other year the ALS Center hosts a symposium for healthcare professionals on the Columbia University campus. For additional information on past and future programming contact the Continuing Medical Education Department at http://cpmcnet.columbia.edu/dept/cme. |
